We Have a Winner in the Summer Picnic Recipe Challenge

The winner of our team's Summer Picnic Recipe Challenge is Martha Danielson with her treasury Panini, Meany, Miney, Moe. That title alone should make it a winner but I was totally fair and had my husband draw a name.

You can view Martha's wonderful treasury by following this link: https://www.etsy.com/treasury/MzAyMDk3NTJ8MjcyMzc5NzcyOQ/panini-meeny-miney-moe

Make certain you also view Martha's wonderful Etsy shop. It's called MarthaDanielsonSews and you can follow this link:https://www.etsy.com/shop/MarthaDanielsonSews
Martha opened her shop on February 8, 2013. If anyone knows how slow I am to complete things, I am the tortoise and Martha is the hare!

Here are a few of the lovely items in her shop.

How perfect is this for a month with a picnic recipe challenge?
In July we have a Mystery Title Treasury were we guess the type of coin or currency from the items that are included in the treasury and what do we find in Martha's shop but a money bag? Martha always has something to go with any treasury theme or game.

And because I also love sewing and quilts, I have to include this one called The Farmer's Market.

Martha's shop announcement says:
Sewn by my hands, from my heart. Please know, It's about more than just quilting. I want you to be a fan of mine. Understanding that you have just five photos and a story to go on, we are able to connect in a very unique way.

What else can I say other than Martha is lots of fun. Read a bit about her in the appropriately named "About" section of her shop I love that it says, "I am endlessly happy, forever optimistic, and amazed that me--a lady with no smart phone, no computer, no camera, beginning with very few tech skills-- has managed to understand this Etsy journey."  Martha, you are one smart lady and we are so happy to have you on the team!

We had wonderful participation in this treasury activity and many fantastic recipes:
Fruit Salad
Chicken Salad
Potato Salad
Boston Baked Beans
along with many more.
Thank you to eveyone on the team who participated! I think we had just the right theme for summertime and with the 4th of July weekend right ahead. Everyone have a safe and happy 4th of July!
