Data analysts by day, Jo & Lynne use crafts as a creative outlet to balance the numbers running through their heads. They each had many years of crafting experience and in 2003, wanting to do something different and inspired by starting a feral cat rescue group, they created and copyrighted "Purrfect Purrsonalities©," a line of original hand-sewn plush collectible cats. They have since added over 180 unique "Purrsonalities" to their repertoire spanning nine categories: CareerCATs, CariCATures, FELINECorral, FestiveFELINEs, HeroCATs, HobbyCATs, MusiCATs, SportCATs and WhimsiCATs. Ranging from tongue-in-cheek names (librarian Paige Turner) to nods to the famous (singers Catsy Feline and Tex Critter) to subject-related (calculus teacher Libby Newton), the uniqueness of each fiber-art creation is enhanced by a tag bearing both the name and collection number. If, by chance, you can’t find your “purrfect” purrsonality, they gladly accept a challenge to create a kitty custom-made just for you.
